Red Rocks Park
Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater feels like visiting another planet! It offers a variety of recreation options for everyone – from drive-through sightseers, family picnickers, nature lovers, and outdoor exercise enthusiasts. Denver Union Station boasts an eclectic array of the city’s top restaurants, bars and shops. As you step through any of the Denver Union Station entrances and you’ll automatically see that every detail of the stunning Great Hall space pays homage to a pioneer spirit while embracing a truly modern sensibility.
There are 8 ski areas only an hour drive from the hotel in Evergreen. The ski season ends at most resorts in April so you have plenty of time to hit the slopes! Loveland is the closest ski area followed by Arapahoe Basin, Keystone, Breckenridge, Copper Mtn, Vail and Beaver Creek. There are plenty or rental shops at each mountain.
At the center of Evergreen, you’ll find Evergreen Lake, which pours out into Bear Creek. The canyon is lined with miles of hiking trails. If you want the whole package: a great hike, a stroll in a quaint mountain town, and some place to grab lunch, then doing your hiking near Evergreen is a perfect choice. View Map
